Ari Norris

Ari Norris practice focuses on carefully crafted and constructed objects and materials drawn from the mundane, the uncanny, and the improbably handsome. Trained through both studio practice and monument fabrication, Norris has worked on public memorial projects while also developing a practice rooted in contemporary sculpture. His work often recreates familiar domestic or industrial forms with meticulous attention to materiality and scale, using subtle shifts in context and presentation to draw attention to the visual and physical qualities of ordinary objects.
